NIU 2019 Audiology Symposium
This year's topic is advances in neurocognition.
Presentations include: Fatima Husain, Ph.D. - Tinnitus and the brain: What we have learned from neuroimaging studies Angela Grippo, Ph.D. - Social stress, emotion, and health: insights from an animal model Douglas Beck, Ph.D. - Issues in Cognition, Audition and Amplification
Following a catered lunch, the student Grand Rounds Poster Competition will begin, with prizes awarded and the event concluding around 3:30 p.m. The poster competition provides 2nd-4th year students from area universities with an invaluable opportunity to share their integration of clinical and research information in a case study format, and provides clinicians with clinically-useful updates.
This event will be available for ASHA CEs.
