Larry LaRose is TRU in Jay Presson Allens engaging, eloquently written and witty play adapted from the words and works of the brilliant American writer, Truman Capote, best known for his novels In Cold Blood and Breakfast at Tiffanys. The play gives us not only the wit and style of Capote, but also a look at the man behind his very over-the-top public personality, and insight into the toll his work and his life took on him. Mr. LaRose has won accolades for his tour de force performance as TRU including the Washington Area Theater Community Award for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actor in a Play.
