Event
Fundamentals of Sex and Sexuality for Counselors and Therapists
Talking to clients about sex and sexuality is a special skillset that requires not only academic knowledge but personal comfort with the subject matter. In a culture plagued by sex shame, providing accurate, empowering, and pleasure based content is essential.
During this course participants will be exposed to a wide range of information including content around gender presentation, sexual orientation, relationship structures, and sexual functioning.
Participants will leave with a new knowledge base and comfort with the subject matter as well as resources for implementing this training and for ongoing learning.
