FREE ILLUSTRATED TALK: The Light & the Dark - Arts & Crafts - Image & Imagination
Thomas Denny is a leading British contemporary stained glass
artist and landscape painter, whose work adorns Durham and
Gloucester cathedrals and more recently the Richard III
window in Leicester Cathedral, as well as in rural parishes in
England, Scotland, Ireland and Germany.
His work reflects his deep spirituality and love of sacred landscape, and quotes seventeenth century cleric and poet,
Thomas Traherne: you never enjoy the world aright, till you love the beauty of enjoying it that you are covetous and earnest to persuade others to enjoy it.
His work is celebrated within Glory, Azure & Gold: The Stained
Glass Windows of Thomas Denny.
