Eugene Opera's "the little match girl passion"
Add a contemplative experience to your holiday season with Eugene Opera's performance of David Lang's work, "the little match girl passion" on December 29 at 4pm at First Christian Church in Eugene. Based on the Hans Christian Anderson fable, the moving work connects us with the human dramas that surround us daily.
The work will be semi-staged and features a vocal quartet and percussion.
We will be collecting cash donations as well as personal hygiene items and toiletries to be donated to the Interfaith Family Shelter run by St. Vincent de Paul. Suggested items include: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, toilet paper, underwear, socks, feminine hygiene products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and tide pods for laundry.
