Fabric of Society - Arts & Crafts - Image & Imagination

We explore the powerful relationship between textiles and the role they have and continue to play in global trade and society. From the sustainability of natural fabrics to weavers' livelihoods in India and Latin America, to the extraordinary ability for the delicate skill of embroidery to inspire and give hope to prisoners here in the UK, we look at how fabric and social progress have been inextricably woven together throughout history.
