Narcissists Anonymous and Shades of Grey (SF Improv Festival 2013)
Narcissists Anonymous is San Francisco's most self-absorbed comedy troupe. They have been seen on stages all over the Bay Area, as well as at the UCB Theater NY, iO West, and Sacramento ComedySportz. This past April saw the debut of their first full-length sketch show, Narcissists Anonymous' Totally Planned Pregnancy. The Narcissists have hosted a regular comedy showcase in San Francisco at the 50 Mason Social House since early 2011, featuring improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy. Their shows blend realism, absurdity, monologues, dynamic characters, and bombastic theatricality.
Shades of Grey is comprised of Endgames/Leela Company Members and Bay Area improv teachers, Marcus Sams and Jill Eickmann. By exploring slice-of-life situations, their shows are often plagued by hilarity and pathos. Their stories are comprised of universal characters who live in a world that is not black and white
