Bryan Garner/ Frater Ashen Chassan:
Lecture Topic: Implements of Evocation and Scrying of the Ceremonial Magician
Description: The magical implements mentioned in ancient texts and refined by western ceremonial occultists for spiritual contact are numerous. However, within the various manuscripts of western classical magic are found key components used in nearly all operations of spirit evocation. Indeed the methods and tools described find similarity across several hundred years as well as crossing religious, linguistic and cultural variants. In this lecture I will be going over some of the most used and practiced forms of magical evocation and explain their creation, consecration and use in magical operations such as evocation.
Biography: Frater Ashen Chassan is a practicing occultist and grimoiric traditionalist who has been involved in classical forms of Western Ceremonial Magic for over eighteen years. His passions center on closely reproducing experiments from the Solomonic magical texts and judging their effectiveness through experience. His aim is to recreate experiments from magical texts as closely as posible before altering any content. Frater Chassan is involved in a multitude of esoteric arts and methods to better understand spiritual phenomena which has occurred in his life since a young age.
Frater Ashen is the Author of Gateways Through Stone and Circle, Gateways Through Light and Shadow and Co-author of Liber Spirituum, Ritual Offerings, and The Holy Guardian Angel. He creates magical talismans and implements for clients on a regular basis and also conducts lectures and workshops on Magicla topics through the year.
His first book, Gateways Through Stone and Circle details his reproduction of Trithemius of Spanheims The Art of Drawing Spirits into Crystals to great success. His books are a boon to traditional ceremonial magicians, providing a detailed account of Frater Ashens work, including the spectacular holy table and an archangelic evocation.
