Secrets From the Shadows

New live show production company Strange Seduction Productions is set to premiere their inaugural full-length show Sept. 28th and Oct. 5th 2019 at the Fox Cabaret.

"Secrets From The Shadows" is based on the myth of Hades and Persephone, turned queer love story, with a glamorous twist. With jewel tones, rhinestones and vivid yet mysterious imagery, these characters that are woven into existence become larger than life, blending the real with the surreal.

Hades, our singing host for the evening (Sasja Smolders), has been without her Queen for 6 months. Persephone (Scarlet Delirium- Sept 28th, La Dame Derriere- Oct 5th) must fulfill the compromise that Hades has made with her parents Zeus and Demeter: To rule the underworld alongside her, Persephone must spend the Spring and Summer on earth, and only then can she return back to the underworld.

As the sun cools down and the leaves fall on earth, the heat rises and the celebration of expression returns to this glorious underworld that will no doubt leave lingering feelings of elation.
