Everyone loves dumplings. They make people smile. Making them yourself and sharing them with friends as part of a dim sum party is extra satisfying.

Join acclaimed cookbook author Andrea Nguyen to explore the world of dumplings and dim sum. You'll learn how to prepare dumpling fillings and dough, wrap, shape and cook the morsels to perfection. You'll also make several other dishes to create a complete and fun meal.

Andrea will help you master Asian dumplings, many of which require only supermarket ingredients. She'll also share shopping tips and culinary history from her book, Asian Dumplings, considered one of the best Asian cookbooks by Cooking Light magazine and an International Culinary Association of Professionals award finalist. Bring your copy or buy one at the class for Andrea to sign for you.

This is a 4-hour, hands-on class that goes from 11am to 3pm so be prepared for lots of cooking, eating and learning! The menu includes:

Gingery Chicken Pot Stickers
Shanghai Soup Dumplings
Vegetarian Crystal Dumplings
Candied Walnut and Red Cabbage Salad
Sichuan-style Sesame Noodles
Portuguese Egg Tarts

Terms: After you register for this class, I will email you an Agreement and Release From Liability to review and agree to. The Release is a legal necessity because I am renting a facility for the class. Thanks in advance for understanding.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund less the modest registration process fee is available up to two weeks prior to the class date. If you need to cancel less than two weeks prior to the class date, you may request a credit to be used for another class within the calendar year. No refunds or credits will be issued less than 5 days before the class date.
