July 20th Farm to Table Dinner
This evening is set up to help showcase fresh products from local farms (within 100 miles) and from our own farm to help support the local food movement. Each dinner is prepared by a professional Chef. We would love to invite you to join our family at our farm for an amazing evening of food, wine, music, supporting local farms, and a beautiful atmosphere to just take a walk and enjoy the scenery.

You can take a walk around the farm, enjoy some live music by local artist, wine tasting with wine from Aubrey Vineyards, and an amazing 5-course meal prepared by a professional Chef. The July chef will be Chef Sophia Chatfield! Sophia is also accompanied by her husband, who is also a chef, Chef Matt Chatfield.

We are also so excited about the fact that each one of our Farm to Table Dinners we like to partner with an organization to support. Our July organization is Project Nic! Project Nic provides opportunities for people to live out the love and justice of Jesus to orphans around the world. Our family has gotten the opportunity to be apart of this organization by serving in a shelter in Myanmar. At this time, they provide love, shelter, food, schooling & so much more, to about 130 kids. We hope you can come and hear a little more about what they are doing and if you feel led to give in any way, there will be an opportunity to do that if you choose.Our menus are planned based off of what is in season, so we try to have our menu completed a few weeks out from the event. You will start off with an appetizer in our outdoor courtyard area (if weather permits). Then we move inside to our Farmhouse Room for salad, soup, main course and dessert! The dinners are so fresh and delicious! The Chef will also come out and talk about the different courses throughout the evening, and will also demo one part of the evenings courses. This is definitely an experience you do not want to miss out on!

JULY MENU:
On this beautiful Summer Evening, we invite you to take a culinary journey to The Big Easy, where you will indulge in the fruits of the season from local farmers. Upon your arrival, you are encouraged to partake in some Red Wine-Poached Orchard Pears, and local cheeses accompanied by our home baked breads. When we make our way to the Dinner tables, we will start you off with a delicious Watermelon and Tomato salad with feta cheese. Because we planted too many tomatoes this year (again), Chef has prepared a scrumptious Tomato Cognac Bisque for The Soup of the Day! Our entree will be a celebration of freshness, as you enjoy a Shrimp boil with new potatoes, sweet corn on the cob, and a locally made sausage. Don't forget to save room for dessert, as you will love the unique combination of Grilled Orchard Peaches with Bourbon sauce over homemade ice creamGrilled peaches with bourbon sauce over homemade ice-cream.

Cost of Event:
$69/person + tax + tip (Donation amount to the organization will be separate) Ticket includes 5 course meal prepared by professional Chef and music throughout the evening by local artist. Reservations only. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Wine Options (Aubrey Vineyards):
Wine Tasting Package: $10/person
(5 - 2 oz. pours of wines that are paired with each course)
Wine by the glass: $7-$9
We also have some local beer options.

Arrive around 6pm. From time of arrival until 6:45pm enjoy appetizers in the courtyard, live music, and feel free to walk around the farm. Dinner will start at 7pm.

Must have reservations. Reservations due by Wednesday, July 17th, but you can always contact us to see if we still have seats available past that date. If we still have room, we will try to fit you in!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans?
Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals. Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommodate guests with these dietary restrictions.

Is there a dress code for this event?
No, but we do encourage you to dress accordingly if you are interested in taking a walking tour of our farm/garden. You may desire a jacket. We do have sidewalks and paths to the gardens, but will have to walk through some gravel.
