Powered by four of the most innovative musicians in a new generation of traditional folk music, Fàrsan unites song, dance and instrumental music from the Gaelic traditions of Scotland and Cape Breton. Their unique blend of fiddle, pipes, whistles, piano and accordion with percussive stepdance and puirt-à-beul (mouth music) brings a sparkling energy to every performance.

Don't miss their Burren Backroom debut...
The Zeichner Trio will open. Yasi, Oliver, and Louli Zeichner are three siblings who have grown up in the hills of central Vermont. They play traditional Irish music, and Old-Time/Appalachian music with Louli on 4 and 5 string banjos and Celtic harp, Oliver on the penny whistle and the uilleann pipes, and Yasi on the fiddle. When they first began playing traditional music, the Zeichners didnt intend to become a family band. However, in 2012, they became involved with Young Tradition VT (YTV), a non-profit organization providing opportunities for young people in the state to learn and perform traditional music. Will be soo great to welcome to the series for the first time. Take a listen to a sampling below...
