Speak Up Special Event: Book Launch Party!
Join bestselling author and storyteller Matthew Dicks for the launch of his latest novel, Twenty-one Truths About Love. Matt will spend the evening telling the stories behind the writing of this book, which is comprised entirely of lists. List after list after list which combine to tell the story of a man and his struggle to keep his marriage together while the rest of his life falls apart. In addition to stories, there will be contests, prizes, Q&A, and even an opportunity for audience participation. Books will be sold at the event, and Matthew will be signing them, too.
The evening will be hosted, of course, by Elysha Dicks.
Admission is $10, and all proceeds go directly to the Connecticut Historical Society.
