Mamma Mia
The Annisquam Village Players present the hit Broadway musical, Mamma Mia. The show, written around the songs of the 1970's Swedish rock bang ABBA, tells the story of a young woman (Sophie), raised by her mother (Donna) in the Greek islands, seeking to find her father to walk her down the aisle at her upcoming wedding. After reading her mother's diary, she discovers that there are three possible fathers (Sam, Bill and Harry), all of whom she invites to the wedding. Donna's former bandmates (Tanya & Rosie) attend as well, making for a colorful cast of characters. Come on down to the Annisquam Village Hall for a lively night of humor, romance and show-stopping dance numbers. We will not be surprised to see our audiences singing and dancing along in the aisles in Annisquam this summer.
