Starmites: The Musical

Bay Area Zeta Players is a completely student run theatre company based in Oakland. We started in 2014 as Nerdology Musical Theatre, and since expanded to include a student-written Ten Minute Play Festival, and have put on two straight plays over the past few years. This show - "Starmites: the Musical" - is our annual musical, and a must see!

"Starmites" follows the life of Elenor, a shy teenager and an avid collector of science fiction comic books. She imagines herself as a super heroine and lives out her comic book fantasies. A conflict arises between the evil Shak Graa and Starmites, guardian angels of innerspace. Elenor and the Starmites work together to defeat Shak Graa and harmony is finally restored!

"Starmites: The Musical" is a vibrant, 80's style piece of theater that is rarely performed, and we are excited to bring it to life on the stage!
