This is a archiving workshop designed to give you information on how to discover, organize, store, and preserve 2-D materials in your home that have meaning for your family, future generations, or that may be of interest to your local historical society or history museum one day. Our Museum Archivist, Amber Espitia, will demonstrate how you can care for your own photograph collections, scrapbooks, diaries, family letters, manuscripts, audio/visual materials, and more. This workshop will not cover how to care for 3-D objects. There will be time for questions, but please refrain from bringing items along with you.
