DRIFTR is a modern blend of authenticity, soul, and quality production that seeks to illuminate the peaks and development of the human condition. Combining Hip-Hop, Soul music and Electronic elements the resulting sound is thoughtful, genuine, and intelligent with traces of grit. Veterans of a vibrant artistic community, Driftr journeys through an open ended trek with their intricate compositions and seductive, straightforward vocals. With each musician hailing from seperate musical stomping grounds, yet clearly unified in influence and execution, Driftr writes no two songs the same. Timbres wander and synths wobble. Compelling vocal-flows anchor themselves firmly at the core of each track, while lush guitars fluently embellish a reminiscent tune. Adding to the team various additional performers such as vocals from Kat Factor, horns from Kr3ture, and members of Boostive, along with Alea Rain, a longtime friend and LA-based artistic director, performer, and choreographer, the music gains a heightened holistic and sensual touch unique in its field.
