Join Angela in a one hour introduction to bellydance class, while enjoying a delicious beer from Grain & Grit! The lesson will introduce you to some of the quintessential bellydance movements, including shimmies, belly rolls, chest isolations and hip accents. Class will be fun and upbeat, while challenging you to move in a new and exciting way! Those with some bellydance experience will be challenged to refine and enrich their basics. This class warmly welcomes all levels and bodies.
Angela Josephine is a professional modern bellydancer living in Hamilton, Ontario. She performs regularly at local shows including the monthly bellydance show Glitter, hosted by Eshe Yildiz, as well as at various events and shows in Toronto. She trains at The Dark Side Studio in Toronto, Ontario where she studies under Audra Simmons. She is a member of Lavish Dance Company and the Dark Side Studio Student Troupe. Angela teaches weekly classes at Mahasti the Bellydance Emporium in Hamilton.
