September 19, 2013 - The Upstate Release of Giving USA (Breakfast)

Last year, according to the annual Giving USA report released in July, over $316B was given to nonprofit organizations around the country through individuals, foundations and corporations. How does the information apply to you and your work?

Join us for the September AFP Meeting and the release of 2013 Giving USA in the Upstate. This session will be led by Jerry Henry, Partner at Alexander Haas in Atlanta, GA. Jerry will share with the AFP Membership details of the report as well as how to apply the findings to your everyday efforts.

Jerry provides counsel on a daily-basis to a wide range of organizations including educational institutions, social service groups, cultural institutions and faith-based organizations.

A self-described "renaissance man," Jerry's expertise has reached well over 100 clients nationwide since he joined the Firm in 1998, including Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois, the Tampa Bay History Center, Ron Clark Academy, and First Presbyterian Church, Atlanta.

A native of South Carolina, Jerry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College and a Master of Divinity from Yale University. He obtained his CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) in 1998.
