The Folk Opera and Annie Bacon

Come on out for a whole evening of goodness! Come enjoy and amazing folk opera sung for you LIVE! Bring food for a picnic/potluck!!

The Folk Opera is a 45-minute musical suite composed on the ukulele that carries the listener through a day in the life of a few small town folks as the forces of love and loss (of memory, people and places) rewrite their plans. Haunting folk melodies and harmonies meet operatic hyperbole, creating an indelible, visceral, musical experience.

After The Folk Opera we'll take a little break for food and then the live music will continue with, Annie Bacon and her OSHEN.

PARKING
As with all shows at the B House, there is no onsite parking so please plan to walk or bike or parking offsite and walk or scooter or skateboard to the event.

SHOWTIME
The Folk Opera is only 45 minutes long, so please arrive on time so you don't miss out! We will have a little break to be able to get some food, and then Annie and her OSHEN will play from 6:30-8.
This should allow plenty of time for families to get down to Memorial park for the FIREWORKS at dusk (approximately 9pm).

TICKETS
As we have done in the past, it is free to reserve your ticket but we will ask for a suggested donation of $15 at the door. This donation goes completely to the artists, some who've come from very far to perform for us all!
