Harken back to the bard with another Roustabout Shakespeare compilation, this time built around a new and unusual theme: parenthood. Big Daddy Shakespeare, adapted by Anna Simmons, is a montage of scenes, sonnets, and excerpts that together form a full-length piece exploring a new side of William Shakespeare: his role as a father and son. As he wrote, If by chance I talk a little wild, forgive me; I had it from my father.
Roustabout's studio production is directed by Josie Eli Lapczynski and designed and built by the Roustabout team!
Starring: Amanda Buchalter, Julia Garlotte, Russ Schwartz, and Cynthia Szczesny.
Tickets: $24 for adults, $15 for students, $22 for seniors over 60. Seating is General Admission.
Can't buy online? Tickets are available in-person at the door 30 minutes prior to each performance.
