Night Under the Stars 2019!
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing with a star party at Strawbale Winery! Library staff will have crafts and activities for all ages, and amateur astronomers will be in attendance to conduct short presentations. Our astronomer friends will also bring telescopes and help you view different objects in the night sky!
7:30 to 8:00--Arrive, get a beverage, and mingle!
8:00 to approx. 9:00--Enjoy crafts, activities, and yard games. Astronomers will also provide short presentations on different topics.
9:00 to 10:00--We will move to the open field across the road to view the sky.
Bring a blanket or sleeping bag. Admission is free, but a ticket is required. Please no outside beverages.
