The Way of Improv Workshop
This workshop has a maximum capacity of 16 people. Rich Talarico is a 21 year improv veteran having studied with Stephen Colbert, Charna Halpern and the late Del Close. Rich has trained and performed at the Second City Chicago and IO Chicago. While in Chicago, Rich was heavily involved at Improv Olympic under the direction of Charna Halpern and Del Close. Rich played on the teams "Mr. Blonde" & "Faulty Wiring" understudied "Dynamite Fun Nest" with The Family and played with the long running "Armando Diaz Experience, Theatrical Movement and Hootenanny." Rich also co-created the long-form shows "Strap Heads", "Trio", "Close Quarters" and "Dasariski." As an actor, Rich has appeared in several TV commercials, most notably A&W Rootbeer's "Mr. Dumass". Rich also appeared in small roles on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien", "Early Edition", "What About Joan?" and the feature film "High Fidelity". As a TV writer/producer Rich has written for HBO's "The Sketch Pad", "Mad TV", "The Tonight Show w. Jay Leno" & "SNL." Currently he's a staff writer for Comedy Central's "Key & Peele." Rich has led the "Way Of Improv" in Philadelphia, Dallas, Denver, Boston, Austin, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, NYC and at Camp Improv Utopia. You can see Rich perform at UCB LA and at festivals all over in "Dasariski."
