BollyProv at MinneUtsav 2019
Opening for Bollyprov is the premiere performance of a brand new South Asian improv group, Spice Girls! Featuring Kavitha Bernet, Sindhusha Kasinadhuni Dakwale, Monika Hetzler, Divya Maiya, and Deepika Pangarkar.
BollyProv is a Bollywood-inspired improv group that consists of Kya Fischer & Madhu Bangalore (with tech by Divya Maiya). BollyProv will be bringing a flavor of Bollywood movies to improv. Like any Bollywood movie, there will be unnecessary drama, cheesy romance and a lot of laughter. BollyProv is a part of SAATH (previously known as Bollywood Dance Scene), a local non-profit organization that promotes cultural diversity through performing arts.
All of the proceeds to this show will be donated to HUGE Theater's capital campaign to purchase a forever home for improv here in the Twin Cities!
