Home Sweet Ghar is a dance drama featuring a diverse cast of 65+ performers, toe-tapping choreography, memorable characters, and a heartfelt perspective on the idea of home and the process of creating a home after moving to a new country. Our story follows the challenges and triumphs of Namita and Mittu who have immigrated to the United States and their path towards assimilating and finding their own footing.

Home Sweet Ghar will be the highlight of a week of festivities as part of our MinneUtsav Festival - a South Asian Performing Arts Festival in the Twin Cities.

MinneUtsav is a South Asian arts festival presented by S.A.A.T.H., South Asian Arts and Theater House. In addition to the dance drama the lineup includes an improv comedy show, improv workshops and acting workshops.

This activity is made possible by voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
