Spotlight Series: Po'Chop
Part dance, ritual, poetry, and fantasy, The Peoples Church of the G.H.E.T.T.O (Greatest History Ever Told To Our People) is a reimagined worship service rooted in the life and work of Audre Lorde and dedicated to the edification and education of black women doing their work.
Created by PoChop, with support from Chicago Dancemakers Forum and Pivot Arts Festival, The Peoples Church of the G.H.E.T.T.O invites you to join this intimate work-in-progress showing and their culminating series of services this September. This W.I.P showing will feature PoChop and Tiff Beatty and will be followed with a brief Q&A/conversation.
