Resin Canvas Art with Donna Smit

On a quest to incorporate glass and resin, resident artist Donna Smit took a class from Mary Hong, a renowned multimedia artist and had one of those ah ha moments... Donna, a local fused glass artist/instructor, teaches fused glass classes that are project defined. This class allows students the freedom to create just about anything. Each student will paint a canvas with acrylic paint, adding glass such as wine and beer bottle shards, jewelry, wire, beads, tiles, (unlimited possibilities) capping with resin. You can create beautiful one-of-a-kind art that is dimensional. Students are encouraged to bring baubles from home to enhance their canvas. Each student will create either a 12 x 12 canvas for $85 or 8 x 10 canvas for $75. All materials are supplied. Experience with glass cutting and nipping is preferred, but not required. Limit of 8 students.

A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund.
