If we are truly a nation of immigrants why have we not come anywhere near to instituting a immigration system that keeps this issue off the headlines?
One of our favorite instructors Ed Cabrera takes on another unwieldy subject in an attempt to make it more understandable.
He will highlight the history of immigration, its many hurdles, the politics, the faces and the latest developments in this controversial topic. You will not only see the issue from both sides of the aisle but also discover what someone wishing to immigrate to the U.S.A encounters in the process.
As always in a presentation by Ed, entertaining videos on the issue will be generously sprinkled throughout the class.
Ed Cabrera has taught at Atascadero High School and, before that, at Perris High School (in Southern California). He also coached numerous sports and advised even more clubs in his career spanning four decades. Mr. Cabrera has previously taught courses for LLCC on elections, the modern classroom, The Internet, Brexit and the use of PowerPoint.
