Rosana Eckert is internationally recognized as a live and studio vocalist, published songwriter and arranger, voice-over actor, and master teacher of jazz and voice. As a vocal artist, she has had the pleasure of performing with such jazz greats as Lyle Mays, Kenny Wheeler, George Duke, Jon Faddis, Bobby McFerrin, and the renowned vocal quartet New York Voices. Rosana has recorded four solo CDs of her original songs and jazz arrangements. A renowned educator, Rosana is Principal Lecturer of jazz voice at the University of North Texas. A highly respected improviser, Rosana is a featured artist on the vocal improvisation app Scatability by Michele Weir, and she is the female vocalist on the demo CD for Darmon Meaders groundbreaking book titled, Jazz Improvisation ...

Rosana has performed at major jazz festivals and venues, including the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Festival, the Umbria Jazz Festival, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and she has recorded and performed with such jazz greats as Lyle Mays, Christian McBride, Kenny Wheeler, George Duke, Jon Faddis, Marvin Stamm, Bobby McFerrin, and the New York Voices.

Her debut solo CD, At the End of the Day, was praised as a superior debut by Cadence Magazine and was a finalist for Best New Jazz Album in the Independent Music Awards.
Her highly anticipated fourth solo album titled Sailing Home, produced by renowned singer/pianist/arranger Peter Eldridge, features all original music and is set to release on June 21 on Origin OA2 Records.
