PCM Advanced Jazz Ensemble
The Portland Conservatory Jazz Studies Program directed by saxophonist Titus Abbott has had an advanced jazz ensemble for the past four years featuring some of Maines most outstanding students. The ensemble playing at the Cadenza Freeport event includes Nick Drown - tenor saxophone, Gene Gill - alto saxophone, Alex Hansen - piano, Asa Meyer-Waldo - bass and Edmund Paquin - drums.
Titus Abbott
Saxophonist Titus Abbott will perform a set following the PCM Advanced Ensemble performing pieces by Thelonius Monk, Ornette Coleman, Lennie Tristano and others.
