WITHIN THE ICE - by Wiley June Summerfest 2019
The play follows Philip Enfance, the captain of a British exploration ship which is marooned at the south pole. He struggles with his own internal monsters and competence as a captain, even as his crew is gradually picked off by a monster all their own. It explores themes of morality, command, regret, and eventual acceptance of past sins.
