Lunch at Vero Pizzeria with Scarpetta Wines!
Scarpetta Wines and food from Chef Matt @ Vero Pizzeria on Saturday, May 18th from 12:00pm - 3:00 pm. Come carb back up after the Brookhaven Bolt and munch on an array of pizzas from Vero Pizzeria, as well as charcuterie and a suckling pig roasted to perfection in La Caja China for porchetta sandwiches. You can wash it all down with four wines from Italian producer Scarpetta:
Frico Bianco, Friuli-Venezia Giulia IGT (Chardonnay & Friulano)
Frico Rosato, Toscana IGT (Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Ciligiolo)
Frico Rosso Toscana IGT (Sangiovese, Canialolo, Cliegiolo, and Colorino).
Frico Lambrusco, Emilia Romagna
We plan to use the newly completed patio at Vero for this awesome wine tasting/lunch. Cost is $30 per person and includes wine and food!
