GOD'S YOUNGER SON - by Joe Leary - Summerfest 2019
After a heavy night of binge-drinking, an alcoholic wakes up in a locked psychiatric ward. His roommate is a schizophrenic young African-American man who believes hes the youngest son of God. Initially, the alcoholic is fearful of the young man. As he comes to some self-realization and sees cracks in the young mans delusion he feels more comradeship with him and empathy for him.
