Latin Night with the Praeclara Ringers
Kyle Blackburn directs the Praeclara Ringers in an evening celebrating Latin culture, featuring intricate syncopated music performed by Praeclaras elite handbell choir. Musical selections include El Jarabe Tapatio (the traditional Mexican hat dance), Leroy Andersons Blue Tango, the Gypsy Song from Bizets Carmen, Michael Joys Toccata Ritmica, Dave Brubecks Unsquare Dance, and more. Classical flamenco guitarist Matthew Stone appears as a guest artist and will also perform several selections.
Come early to enjoy drinks at our margarita bar before the performance! The bar opens for purchases at 6:30 pm, and the concert begins at 7:30.
