Summer in the Bee Hive: Learn About the Life of Honeybees on Tiny Diner Rooftop
Join Susan Brown of Mademoiselle Miel and keeper of the Tiny Diner rooftop bees for a monthly group inspection of the hives. We'll open one up and take a look at what's going on, talk about what to look for in the coming month and answer questions. Protective veil will be provided but plan to wear your own long pants and sleeves if concerned about stings. We'll be able to sample honey right from the hive and hopefully spot the elusive queen!
This class is for potential, beginner, seasoned beekeepers and pollinator lovers. This class will take place the first Tuesday or every month. Sign up for all classes or just come to one! Class dates include June 4th, July 2nd, August 6th and September 3rd.
