SIX-SOUTH - by Julian Deroyce Bliss - Summerfest 2019
This play is a coming of age story that focuses on five teens growing up with mental illness, set in an adolescent psychiatric ward. Told through the eyes of Joby, who has just attempted suicide on his seventeenth birthday, the play explores a generation struggling to understand its own issues while dealing with the stigma surrounding their mental health.
