Dark Eros Dojo Presents: The Art of the Rough-House
THEORY:
Body handling, creating energy, and roughhousing is the fastest way to create stronger bonds that last longer. It is also somatically healthy and healing for the body. Furthermore, when engaged in this activity, the brain secretes loving energy hormones, Oxycontin, serotonin, and endorphins which could happen at different points in the activity and for different reasons, depending on the participants.
This is what we are here to discover for ourselves. I will be your guide through this path of ordeal we are creating in order to gain greater insight into self and our partners -- communicating deeper, obtaining stronger connections that foster sustainable, healthier, honest, intimate, relationships.
METHODOLOGY:
Experiential Demonstration - Practice/session - Interactive-discussion
SAFETY:
Arms and legs tucked in/ rolling
Staying on knees or matts, remembering this is not a competition
Listening to verbal commands, working with not against.
Providing or giving positive resistance.
AGENDA:
Preflight negotiation (discuss)
Three positions/home position
Side control strong side - weak side theory
Back/front
3 rounds of play/exploration/experience
OUTCOMES:
At the end of class expect to.
Be aroused
To feel alive
Know how to stop/start and reset in a session.
Feel more confident with verbal commands
Feel more confident and secure with being handled/handling the body
Know were you feel hesitant and were you feel more secure from the top or bottom.
Feel more confident negotiating
Know how to conduct training and experience sessions and what additional skills are needed to work on.
Possibly achieve flow or deeper connection, other positive altered ecstatic states.

Dark Eros Dojo is dedicated to educating and training many diverse communities. As positive body image advocates, Dark Eros DoJo is committed to providing safe space for all bodies, orientations, and identities. Dark Eros, sacred kink, leather, and BDSM are the focus. In addition, we provide a safe space to train and practice and this website is a resource for learning, taking courses, finding events, and networking. We also meet in the city once a month in the heart of downtown San Francisco at the SF Citadel 181 Eddy Street. Master Scorpio and other team members give classes, intensives, and hybrid workshops at other venues like Wicked grounds and Mission Control.
ACCESS:
Please note that the Wicked Grounds Annex space at 293 8th St is ADA friendly once upstairs, but stairs are the only means of ingress and egress to the Wicked Grounds Annex space. If you have any questions, please message the event organizers and we will do our best to answer them!
