Free Masterclass: West African Dance with Live Drumming
LANGSTON is excited to work with The University of Washington and Gansango Music & Dance to offer the community a free public workshop in West African dance by Etienne Cakpo on Sunday May 5th from 12-2pm.
This no cost workshop is made possible by the Glenn Kawasaki Guest Artist Fund. Etienne was selected to serve as the 2018-2019 Kawasaki Guest Artist at UW last Autumn, with his students presenting at the Faculty Dance Concert in January 2019. Space sponsorship made possible by LANGSTON.
Open to all experience levels ages 13 and up.
