New Roots Urban Farm is an anti-profit collective that has come together because of their shared vision for human sustainability. They believe all communities of people are responsible for creating and maintaining their basic needs using methods that are sustainable to the members of their community and environment. They straddle the geographic border of two neighborhoods in North St. Louis city where they maintain and nurture a farm site, a greenhouse with an outdoor kitchen, fruit trees, chickens, bees, a few community houses, and each other.
