HUNCH presents: A workshop on audience interaction with Deanna Fleysher
$100 4 hours - 10:00am - 2:00pm The Red Gate Revue Stage - 1601 Johnston St
If you ask the average audience member, they'll tell you they hate audience interaction. What they actually hate is bad audience interaction, and we've all been there. But then... You know those performers who have audiences eating out of the palms of their hands...
Those performers who can ask audience members to do outrageous things, and the audience members seem more than willing to comply!... Those performers who can pull more laughs, more feelings, more investment out of audiences... those performers who can truly captivate a crowd...
Those performers are not magicians (well, except for the ones who actually are magicians). They are relying on a skill set that is learnable, on tips and tricks that can transform your relationship with the audience and make them love you on a whole new level.
In this 4-hour workshop, you'll learn and get practice in the art of meaningful, effective interactivity with audiences. You'll develop some of that magic that audiences crave but can't put a finger on. You'll get personalized feedback to hone your unique style of connecting to the audience.
