The Orgaphonics are a jazz organ trio based in the North Carolina triangle area specializing in music of the jazz organ tradition with a more contemporary twist. The group includes Mark Wells - organ, Kevin Van Sant - guitar, and Dan Davis on drums. The Orgaphonics first formed in the late 1990s and released a self-titled/self-produced album in the Fall of 1999. They performed extensively around the local area and North Carolina for several years and have recently re-formed to play local and regional performances.
