RACONTEURS - An Evening of Storytelling
Hosted by Adam Green

THURSDAY, MAY 9 | 7 PM | $15 ($12 for Friends of SAC)

Join us as we launch this exciting new program hosted by writer Adam Green.

The theme of our first Raconteurs night will fittingly be "Firsts". Each participant will tell a true story without notes about something they experienced for first time. Stories will range from 5 to 8 minutes and are sure to make you laugh and perhaps even shed a tear.

About Adam Green:

Adam Green is a New Yorkbased journalist and an East End fixture. He is Vogue.coms theater critic and Contributing Editor at the magazine as well as a regular contributor to The New Yorker. His work has also appeared in other publications, among them The New York Times. Before becoming a journalist, Green was a staff writer for Saturday Night Live, and other television credits include several comedy specials, among them a CBS tribute to Superman's 50th Anniversary. In the late 1980s, Green and Maura Moynihan formed the comedy duo Moynihan and Green. They performed in nightclubs around New York City and appeared in the Merchant-Ivory film Slaves of New York. Adam is currently working on a memoir for Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

Green studied English Literature at Harvard University where he was an editor for the Harvard Lampoon.
