ATTIRE:

Dressing up will be required for this event. AND there will be a costume contest!!! You WILL want to win this prize!!

I want you to use your imagination and have fun with this theme. From big hair, big dresses to the lingerie they wore.

- Google Marie Antoinette costumes and you'll find a ton of options from sexy short dresses to full gowns.

- Google 1700s costumes - you'll find options for men and women. Not all dresses were big back in the day.

- Google 1700s lingerie as you can come in just lingerie from that time period.

- Google DIY 1700s costumes

- You can find things at thrift stores around LA, Etsy, Amazon. Doesn't have to be expensive, just use your imagination.

- It can be a modernized 1700s look...Google Modern 1700s Clothing or 1700s inspired dresses.

- Have fun with the hair and go big. They were known for Far Out there hair designs.

- Look up other cultures in the 1700s...an Indian 1700s look, Egyptian, Venetian, pirate. So many ways to go with this.

- Think Marie Antoinette...over the top, very girly, pink, lots of roses for a costume idea.

- Doesn't have to be a dress...can be a worker or a performer of the time...Example, snake oil salesman, fortune teller.

But all costumes need to be of the time period, so please to stick with the theme.

I want this event to be a surprise of what to expect. It will be over the top...same as Gatsby party!

With this party, you will be stepping back in time to the 1700s with performances, entertainment, what the alcohol of the day was, food of the time, and more.
