Advanced Flash Technique Workshop

Following on from a successful London workshop in 2018 where Dr Philip Manfield taught the Flash Technique to over 150 EMDR therapists, we are pleased to welcome Phil back to the UK to deliver the Advanced Flash Workshop on Saturday 5th October.

This is an opportunity to improve your skills at using the Flash technique. Dr Manfield began teaching Flash in October of 2017, and the technique has evolved and improved over that time. The Flash technique protocol proposed in the original November, 2017 paper that was published in the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research has been vastly simplified and improved, while maintaining the same rapid and dramatic outcomes. As you have integrated the Flash technique into your practice, you have hopefully been pleasantly surprised at what you have been able to accomplish with it. But it is likely that you have run into some problems using the Flash technique. Now that you have had experience working with it, you will now have the opportunity to share the problems you have encountered, and Dr. Manfield will attempt to offer some satisfying solutions. In particular some of the most common issues that have been raised on the listserv will be discussed in detail. You will also be happy to know that with the new version of Flash, it has become easier to use and results are now generally achieved more rapidly. We look forward to bringing you up to speed on these advances.

- Videos of Flash Technique sessions
- Live demonstrations with volunteer attendees
- Group practicums in which all attendees experience conducting and receiving the Flash Technique
- Troubleshooting instructions
- Q & A
- Handouts

You may wish to attend this workshop straight after the 4th October teaching workshop, though others may wish to consolidate their practice first.
