What impact does grief have on us? How does it affect how we live our daily lives. From Tragedy To Triumph, is a peek into finding the answers to these very tough questions. It centers Geter's journey into widowhood after tragically losing his wife. This show will explore the fears, failures, successes, and shortcomings of a man trying to make sense of life and death. It deals with the larger issues of black grief, love, guilt, and acceptance in hopes to find triumph after tragedy.

Angelo "EyeAmBic" Geter is a dynamic poet, spoken word performer, educator, and teaching artist. He uses life experiences to peel back the layers and expose the inner parts of ourselves that we keep hidden. It is vulnerable and honest work that relates to us all.

"Eyeambic" is a National Poetry Slam Champion, former Southeastern Collegiate Poetry Champion and has competed at several competitions across the country over the course of his poetry career. He is on the Board of Directors for The Watering Hole, has appeared on All Def Poetry, and featured in numerous literary festivals and colleges across the U.S.
