GEORGE WASHINGTON INAUGURAL BALL
Wednesday May 8, 2019
7pm to 10pm
A splendid feast of historic food ways and cocktails;
of modern and 18th century dancing & entertainment;
a historical presentation and project announcement.
Attendees are encouraged to wear either cocktail, black tie or 18th century attire.
The evening features festive entertainment by The Hearts of Oak Independent Militia Company and The Ministers of Apollo; as well as a chance to learn (or simply observe) the minuet and country dances. There will be a historical presentation on the history of George Washingtons Inauguration and an exciting upcoming project announcement!
Thank you for your interest in the first annual George Washington Inaugural Ball; commemorating George Washingtons Inauguration at the former Federal Hall in 1789, in the nations first capital, New York City.
