Hair Spray The Phenomenon
Hair Spray The Phenomenon is about a full figured woman who's dream is to become famous. Although she faces many challenges along the way, nothing seems to discourage her or stand in her way! We can all take a page from Miss Tracy Turnblad's book!
This play is based in the 60's but is addressing topics that are still relevant today. As uncomfortable as it may be, we are touching on the issues of segregation, body shaming, and bullying. As the play unfolds, we move into a new direction of positive self body image, equality and kindness!
Our intention is to bring awareness to these topics through a very healing outlet...music and dance.
