Building Polyam-Fam! (Biological or Chosen)
As Non-Monogamy grows up, the question of family becomes all the more relevant to those people looking to build multi-generational family while loving without limits. Fortunately, Koe Creation is a second generation: sex-positive, polyamorous, relationship educator and is here to share their wisdom with you!
In this class we will cover:
- Tools for creating a safe and family friendly, sex-positive environment.
- How to translate polyam communication skills to your parenting.
- A Formula for Coming Out
To top it off, youll get to go home with some incredibly cute art to show your loved ones!
Whether you yearn to have a thriving non-monogamous family to already have one you are calendaring for; you will get the chance to discuss your issues and gain some first-hand wisdom from a thriving polykid! Workshop includes discussion and drawing, suitable for teenagers who are good with adult topics.
We will have copies of Koe's latest book 'The Heart Holds Many' available for purchase at this event, along with several other Thorntree press titles.
PRESENTER NOTES:
Koe Creation has one of the most unique life stories youve ever heard, guaranteed. Growing up in a sex-positive, polyamorous family in Seattle, Washington, Koe learned transparent, non-violent communication, age-appropriate discourse, and sex-positive empowerment at a young age. Teaching sex education and relationship skills across the USA since they were a teenager, Koe now has a decade of expertise at being a professional pervert. Koe is a frequent cohost of the Polyamory Weekly podcast and presents at conferences all over the country.
ACCESS NOTES:
This event will be held in the Wicked Grounds Annex at 293 8th St. The space is ADA friendly once you are upstairs, but please note that stairs provide the only access to and egress from the space.
