Fill your evening with HOPE.

Every single day of the year, youth and families of all ages work up the courage to walk through the door of Kent Youth and Family Services. They come here wanting to free themselves from a life of addiction, looking for a roof overhead, a safe place to play and grow, as well as to fulfill a desire to learn. With this in mind, there is much to celebrate.

The One Thing Experience promises and an evening of stories, conversations, games, magical entertainment and most importantly, HOPE.

This years Fund an Item will be our Early Learning- Head Start and ECEAP program.The Head Start program and the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) provide free preschool education and support services to children, three to five years old, and resource referrals and training opportunities for families who meet the income eligibility criteria and who live within the Kent School District Boundaries.

For Children
- Preschool curriculum designed for the individual child
- Activities which build self-esteem, social, educational and physical skills
- Atmosphere which honors diversity
- Developmental screenings and referrals
- Small class sizes
- Bus transportation in many areas
- Nutritious meals and snacks
- Medical, dental, vision and hearing screenings
- Health, nutrition, and safety education activities

For Families
- Family support services and case management
- Parent meetings, groups and classes (trainings based upon the parents interests)
- Parent / Guardian education, leadership opportunities, support and program governance
- Community resource and referral information and referrals to community services
- Opportunities for personal growth, empowerment and leadership advocacy
- Job training and employment opportunities
- Parent skill building opportunities
- Information on health and nutrition and child development

GRILLED FLANK STEAK topped with Caramelized Onion & mushroom demi-glace, Baby Yukon Bakers tossed in garlic butter, grilled mixed vegetables.

Option 2:
Grilled Boneless 4oz Pork Chop Served with a Lemon Pesto sauce, Baby Yukon bakers tossed in a Garlic Butter, grilled mixed vegetables.

Option 3:
Vegetarian Option
Vegetarian/Vegan Stuffed Red Bell Pepper with Quinoa and Vegetables.
