Women Who Crush Dinner
At Dirt Candy, we're incredibly proud to have a wine list made up entirely of female winemakers, but we're even more excited to welcome a bunch of them to New York City for a feast! Come and join three of our vigneronnes for a 5-course wine dinner, with each course (plus extra amuse bouches) paired with their wines.
The acclaimed female winemakers who'll be there to discuss their wines with you are:
NATHALIE OUDIN - the daughter of the winery's original founders, today Nathalie runs Domaine Oudin.
MARINE LEYS - the founder of the organic winery, La Vignereuse.
CORALIE DELECHENEAU - wife of the husband-and-wife team who run La Grange Tiphaine.
They'll be pairing their beautiful wines with a five-course meal of:
* Celeriac Tots with Green Goddess Dressing
* Onion Tartare
* Cucumber Salad with kaffir lime & cucumber cream, sake-poached melon and cucumber balls, ice plant, mint sichuan oil
* Celery Spaghetti with grilled grapes and peanut broth
* Swiss Chard Sundae
Vegan guests are welcome, just let us know after you buy your ticket and we'll have vegan versions of everything for you.
Tickets are $175 per person (includes tip, but not tax).
